She was one of the favourites for the crown of Miss Universe 2007, but she did not make it to the semifinals. Also Tatiana represented her country on December 1 in Miss World 2007 in China, but despite being in all Internet users' top-lists, she didn't make the cut as well. Tatiana Kotova is the third girl of Russia to participate in both Miss Universe and Miss World beauty pageants after Anna Malova and Svetlana Goreva.
