My answers

Here are my answers for the questions you asked me! If you want to, you can still ask me something this post, but when you ask it later, I'll probably forget to answer it. Sorry for that. And there also is an outfit in this post

Do you have a job?
No, I don’t have a job. But that’s because my school only is almost a job.I have very long school days and I’m home at the same time as my mom. That’s 17:30. Sometimes I also have to finish work at home,so I don’t have really the time to have a job. And okay, there are the weekends. But I don’t want to work on Saturdays, because I see my dad only 2 days in the 2 weeks and if I’m going to work on Saturday, that will make that I see him 1 day and that's just nog often enough.

If you must choose one pair of shoes, one dress and one other favorite piece to go with you when your house is on fire.. What will you pick?
I was thinking about that lately and frankly, I have no idea. It’s so incredibly hard. I have so many shoes, dresses and other stuff. But I think I’ll choose my dark blue Prada dress, my Prada jacket and my Stella McCartney wedges. Those are my most beautiful items I have.

If you can buy one item for the summer, what would it be?
That will be a basic pastel colored dress. I have so many ‘not’ basic dresses, that I’m starting to miss that. The Cherry Blossom girl really got me inspired with those pastel colors.

I was wondering if you could tell us a little bit more about what you study since you are a fashion student at only 17.I find that very young to already be studying it! So, I was wondering, is it a course/programme within school or are you completely done with ordinary school?
I’m done with high school. Here in The Netherlands you have 3 learning levels on high school. The highest takes 6 years and the lowest 4 years. I did the highest level from the lowest. (Hope you can follow me) I could have done a higher level, but that meant that I had to study further on a school that I really disliked. And I’m a creative person, so I can’t stand to learn only and do nothing with my hands. And I’m also a really young student. If I was born 2 days later, I would have been in a lower class.

What's your least favorite purchase you've ever made?
My least favorite?! Hmm… That would be a vintage dress I bought, already several months ago. It’s just a little bit to narrow, so just not comfortable to wear.

If you could only buy clothes from one designer your whole life who would it be?
At the moment I would definitely choose for Chloé Sevigny! All the clothes that she designs are amazing and gorgeous! But for the shoes I would choose for Miuccia Prada. Prada and Miu Miu have the most beautiful shoes!

What's your favorite color?
I have two favorite colors! Green and red. How christmas-y.

What's one trend you wish would just die?
That futuristic trend! Like the S/S Ready-to-wear 2009 collection from Balanciaga. I kind of disliked the clothes, but not the shoes. I think shoes may look futuristic.

What inspired you to start blogging?
Round April 2008 I found the blog from Renée and I thought her style was so fantastic that I kept coming back to her blog. I also got several compliments from people, from friends to people from the street, about my style. And I’ve did an interview, somewhere in January 2008. I also wanted to write down my thoughts and ideas. So after a while I asked myself “why don’t I start a blog?”. I looked around where I could start one and found blogger.com. And now here we are!

Your style is often very sweet and cute -- do you consciously like to play up this aspect of your look, or is it just how you happen to dress?
I really don’t do this on purpose. I just put on a dress/skirt/blouse and start combining. And often this cute style comes out. Sometimes I do try not to dress up that cute, but when I wear it, it just doesn’t feels right. I have the feeling that I look ridiculous and not like me. It’s also because of my hair. The model of my hair is pretty cute, so I have the feeling that ‘tough’ clothes look weird with it.

Have you ever been to the United States and if so, where?
Yes, I have! I’ve been to California and New York. In California my dad and I stayed at friends. They lived in Laguna beach and we also went a weekend to Las Vegas. And I’ve been twice to New York. I really love love love New York. I wish I lived closer, so I could go way more often. The first time that I visited New York, was when I was 13 years old and the second time was last August. But I still really want to go to Washington D.C., San Francisco and Chicago. My dad said that he maybe he has to go to Chicago for his job this year, so I'm planning to join him haha.

Where would you like to go if you haven't?
That are some places I really want to go to. I really want to go to Australia, but also to Tokyo. And I would love to go to Finland or Denmark once! I'm maybe going to study on Teko in Denmark, when I'm finished with this education. But that's not sure yet and I still have 2 years to think about it. But I also would love to go to Rome.

I know it would be hard to choose but what are your favourite 3[or 4] books and why?
At 1 definitely the Stravganza (City of ….) series
At 2 The Elf’s and The Elf winter ( from the same series)
And at 3 the Harry Potter series
Like I said before I like fantasy books. Sometimes I’m a geek.

If you could change anything about people what would you change?
I would make them accept people. There are people who accept that people have a certain religion, but not everyone is. Like the Catholics made war, because they wanted that everyone was Catholic. Like Hitler wanted to kill all the Jews. And now that the Muslims (I mean the extremists) wants everyone to be Muslim. From the most wars that happened on the world, religion was the cause. Everyone has his own religion! Why can’t we all just accept that? And some people, like me, don’t have a religion. I believe in myself. I believe I can do certain things and I don’t have the feeling that I need to believe in something or someone to make the things I want happen. But I don’t mind if someone believes in God or Allah. Only some people are pressing on you to believe in that certain religion. Those people are really annoying. If you’re a believer, I’m really good with that, but if you’re trying to make me believe, I walk away. (please don't get me wrong with this answer)

What would you say are “can’t fail” looks on guys?
That is different per guy. Like boyfriend would look ridiculous with ‘preppy ‘ clothes on (no offence boyfriend). But other guys would look strange withthe clothes that boyfriend wears. But there are some guys that wear oversized, with a print of some dragon or a print of some computer game, shirt and a wrong jeans. That look is a ‘fail’ to me. But if a guy wears something that really suits him and isn’t misplaced, they have a ‘can’t fail ‘ look.

How tall are you?
I’m pretty tiny. I only know it in centimeters. I’m 164 cm. So not really tall. That’s one of the main reasons I love to wear heels!

When you start to dress up like you do now?
That’s since a couple of months. A year ago I looked really different. I wore jeans and used (not often) my leggin as pants. With a long shirt of course. I did liked the style that I’m wearing now, but I wasn’t comfortable with it yet. That slowly grew.

Did you always like clothes and stuff?
I started to be busy with clothes from the age of 14. I liked to dress up and nice clothes, but I wasn’t really busy with it yet.

Could you show us your closet?
I don’t have a closet! I have two clothes racks. But I’m a bit afraid to show it haha. I have so many clothes! But I will show it. One day.

Are you more of a shoes, bags or other accessories girl? ;)) If it's the last one..what is it exactly?
I’m definitely a shoes kind of gal! Shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes!! I have SO many pairs, that it’s insane. My mom really gets irritated (not always) when I have bought a new pair haha. Oh well, it's a womans right to shoes and I love them!

Where do you get your inspiration from?
I get the most inspiration from my own clothes. Mostly I just have to look at a certain clothing piece and I see a whole outfit in front of me. But I also get inspiration from other things! From girls on the street, fashion blogs and streetstyle blogs.

How long do you take in the morning getting dressed, and what's the hardest part to decide?
I decide what I'll wear the evening before I have to go to school, so I don't have time problems in the morning. And the hardest part is certainly picking out a dress or skirt. I don't have problems with the rest. Sometimes I pick out the wrong dress and I'll feel horrible the whole day through.

Are you're really only 17 years old? You're so young and so stylish, it's amazing.
Haha, yes I am! I've been born on 29th of September 1991. You do the math.

If you were stuck on an island with one celebrity for a year, who would you choose and why?
I'm not really that into celbrity's. But I think I want to get stuck on an island with Keira Knightley of Hilary Duff. I think Keira is a gorgeous and amazing actress and I'm my early teen years I was a big fan of Hilary Duff.

I hope you liked reading my answers and now my outfit!
